This month brought my family two significant milestones. My daughter Daisy graduated from high school and I turned 40. See the photo gallery by clicking here! These are the events that matter in life. Each phase is a stepping stone towards a better future and finding the confidence in yourself to grow from your convictions and stay strong makes for a very sturdy foundation.
The King of Heaven, Jesus Christ, left us a parable that resonates with me at moments like these, the Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:18-23). To paraphrase, the one who hears the Word and understands it reaps the fruit of their harvest. Without reason we don't understand, and without understanding Jesus Christ can't heal us..."lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and be converted, and I heal them (Matthew 13:15)."
